Tender-Ready Pack · Small Bid Writing · UK and US

Get ready to bid for public contracts, and get help writing the bid.

Councils, schools, NHS trusts and US federal agencies buy cleaning, building work, care, training, IT, catering, grounds maintenance and much more from small firms. Before you can bid you need to be registered, have the right codes and have your evidence in order. The Tender-Ready Pack gets that paperwork ready for you. When a tender you want comes up, Small Bid Writing helps you answer it.

Flat fees only · no success fees · we never ask for or use your logins · terms in brief

Registration is free, and you can do it yourself. Nobody has to pay anyone to register as a government supplier. In the UK you register on Find a Tender (the Central Digital Platform) with GOV.UK One Login; the government publishes a free step-by-step guide. In the US, SAM.gov registration is free, and APEX Accelerators give free one-to-one help with registration and bidding. We're a paid, done-for-you option for people who would rather hand over the paperwork. You always enter and declare the details yourself, under your own login.

UK: Tender-Ready Pack and Small Bid Writing

Tender-Ready Pack: what you get

  • A pre-filled registration answer sheet for every section of your Find a Tender (Central Digital Platform) supplier profile: basic information, connected persons, qualifications, trade assurances, exclusions and financial information. You copy the answers into your own account and make the declarations yourself.
  • A one-page capability profile as a PDF and an editable file, written from the facts you give us.
  • Your CPV codes: the category codes buyers use, with links to the official lists, so the right notices reach you.
  • A policy and evidence gap list: what buyers in your sector usually ask for (insurance levels, health and safety, quality, environmental, safeguarding, data protection, modern slavery, social value, accreditations such as ISO or CHAS) and which you already have.
  • 10 matched live tenders from our Tender Radar data, each with a short go/no-go note.
  • 1 free month of Tender Radar Monthly: weekly matched notices by email. Nothing renews automatically; if you want to carry on afterwards it's £29 a month.

Delivered within 3 working days of receiving your completed intake answers. Sole traders can register without a Companies House number.

How we work

  1. You order, and within 1 working day we email you a short intake form: what you sell, where you work, your experience, insurance and policies.
  2. We use AI tools to draft your documents from your answers and the official guidance. AI does the first draft; it doesn't have the final say.
  3. A person at Rhinehart Studio reviews everything before it's sent to you, checking it against your answers, the official sources and the buyer's instructions.
  4. You read it, correct anything that isn't right for your business, and enter or submit it yourself.

Facts come from you. We never invent case studies, accreditations, staff numbers or past contracts. If a question needs evidence you don't have, we tell you, rather than filling the gap.

What's not included

  • We don't log in as you. We never ask for, hold or use your GOV.UK One Login, Login.gov, SAM.gov or buyer-portal passwords. You register, declare and submit everything yourself.
  • Not legal, tax or financial advice. We prepare documents from the information you give us and the published guidance. Questions about exclusions, eligibility for set-asides, size status or tax should go to a qualified adviser or the free official help.
  • Not large or framework bids. Small Bid Writing covers one UK tender under £100,000 with up to 5 quality questions, or one small US federal response. Frameworks, dynamic markets and larger bids are out of scope; email us first if you're unsure.
  • No policy drafting. The gap list tells you which policies and certificates buyers ask for. Writing those policies isn't part of the pack.
  • No lobbying or introductions. We don't contact buyers or officials for you.

FAQ

Do I have to pay to register on Find a Tender or SAM.gov?

No. Both are free. You can register yourself using the free official guides, and in the US you can get free help from APEX Accelerators. Our pack saves you the time of working out the answers; it isn't required.

Will you register my business for me?

No. You enter the details and make the declarations under your own login. We give you a pre-filled answer sheet so that's quick, and we'll answer questions by email while you do it.

Will this help me win a contract?

It helps you bid properly, but nobody can promise you'll win, and we don't. Public buyers score bids against published criteria, and most bids don't win. We focus on making yours complete, compliant and clearly evidenced.

Do you charge a success fee?

No. Every price on this page is a flat fee, paid up front. You pay the same whether or not you win.

Is a person involved, or is it all AI?

Both. AI tools help us draft quickly, and a person reviews every pack and bid before it's sent to you. You also check everything before you use it.

I'm a sole trader. Can I still do this?

Yes. In the UK, sole traders can register on Find a Tender without a Companies House number. Many below-threshold tenders are suitable for small suppliers. In the US, non-US businesses can register on SAM.gov but need an NCAGE code; small-business set-asides generally need a place of business in the US.

What if the tender deadline is very close?

Email us before ordering. We need at least 7 working days before the deadline for a standard bid, or 5 working days with express delivery (UK only).

Who does the work?

Rhinehart Studio, a small studio based in Scotland. We work by email, in UK or US English as you prefer.
