US Website Compliance Check

Check your website against the main US rules, for $99.

An automated scan plus a human-reviewed PDF report, with a red/amber/green summary and plain-English fixes, within 2 working days. It covers accessibility (ADA and WCAG 2.1 AA), privacy policies under the CCPA/CPRA and other state laws, opt-out links and Global Privacy Control, tracking disclosure, FTC advertising rules and CAN-SPAM.

Straight talk: automated tools can only test some accessibility requirements (W3C), so this is not a full WCAG conformance audit. A person reviews every report, but no check can guarantee you won't receive a demand letter, complaint or lawsuit. This is a technical review, not legal advice. We don't sell accessibility overlays, and we don't claim any plug-in can make a site compliant: in 2025 the FTC finalised an order against an overlay company for claims like that (FTC).

What we check

AreaWhat we look atWhy it matters
AccessibilityAutomated WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules (axe-core) on your homepage, mapped to impact, plus whether you publish an accessibility statement and whether an overlay widget is loadedThe DOJ says the ADA applies to the websites of businesses open to the public (ADA.gov). WCAG is the most widely used technical benchmark (W3C).
Privacy policyWhether a privacy policy can be found, and whether it covers the categories of data, purposes, sharing, retention, consumer rights and how to make a requestCalifornia's CalOPPA requires a privacy policy on commercial sites that collect personal information from California residents, including a Do Not Track statement (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §22575).
Opt-out and GPCA "Do Not Sell or Share" / "Your Privacy Choices" link, and whether ad trackers still load when the browser sends a Global Privacy Control signalCalifornia's regulations require businesses covered by the CCPA to treat opt-out preference signals such as GPC as a valid opt-out (CPPA regulations; California AG); several other states have similar rules (IAPP tracker).
TrackingAnalytics and advertising tags found, and whether the policy mentions themWhat the policy says should match what the site does.
FTC claimsAffiliate links, reviews and testimonials, and "Made in USA" wordingFTC Endorsement Guides (16 CFR 255), the Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule (16 CFR 465) and the Made in USA standard (FTC).
Email sign-upsSign-up forms, and a checklist for your marketing emails (sender, physical address, opt-out)CAN-SPAM penalties can reach $53,088 per email (FTC).

Sample report: we ran the check on a large US retailer's public homepage to test the tool. Ask us for the sample PDF by email.

How it works

  1. Order online and give us your website address, the US state you're based in and your platform (for example Shopify, Squarespace or WordPress).
  2. We scan your public pages as a US visitor, with and without a Global Privacy Control signal, and a person reviews the results.
  3. Within 2 working days you get a PDF report by email with a red/amber/green summary and fixes.
  4. Fix things yourself, or add the Fix Pack for paste-ready text and step-by-step settings.

FAQ

Is this legal advice?

No. It's a technical and documentary review of what's publicly visible on your website. For legal advice, talk to a US-licensed attorney.

Will this stop me getting an ADA demand letter?

No one can promise that. Automated tests catch some accessibility problems but not all, and lawsuits depend on many things outside a website scan. The report shows you what we found and how to fix it.

Does the CCPA apply to my small business?

Often not: it applies to for-profit businesses that do business in California and meet a threshold, such as annual gross revenue over $26,625,000 (the 2025–26 figure) or buying, selling or sharing the personal information of 100,000 or more California consumers or households (CPPA). CalOPPA's privacy-policy requirement has no revenue threshold. The report tells you which checks matter for you.

Do you need access to my website?

No. We only load the public pages any visitor can see.
